Herbs & Seed Oil cares deeply about your privacy. Webshop software

WooCommerce Our online shop is developed with software from WooCommerce. Personal data that you make available to us for the purpose of our services is shared with this party. WooCommerce has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purpose. WooCommerce is obliged by the agreement we have with them to take appropriate security measures. These security measures include the use of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. WooCommerce uses cookies to collect technical information relating to your use of the software, no personal data is collected and/or stored. WooCommerce reserves the right to share collected data within its own group to further improve its services.

WooCommerce hosting

Our online shop is developed with WooCommerce software, we have chosen Antagonist for our web hosting. Personal data that you make available to us for the purpose of our service is shared with this party. Antagonist has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purpose. Based on the agreement we have with them, Antagonist is obliged to take appropriate security measures. These security measures consist of the application of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Regular backups are made to prevent loss of data.

Web hosting Antagonist

We purchase web hosting and email services from Antagonist. Antagonist processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party may collect metadata on the use of the services. This is not personal data. Antagonist has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent the loss and unauthorised use of your personal data. Antagonist is bound to confidentiality under the agreement.

E-mail and mailing lists

MailChimp
We send our e-mail newsletters using MailChimp. MailChimp will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the bottom of every e-mail sent automatically via our website, you will see the 'unsubscribe' link. You will then no longer receive our newsletter. Your personal data is stored securely by MailChimp. MailChimp uses cookies and other internet technologies that provide insight into whether emails are opened and read. MailChimp reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and to share information with third parties as part of this.

Antagonist
We use the services of Antagonist for our regular business e-mail traffic. This party has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent abuse, loss and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Antagonist has no access to our mailbox and we treat all our e-mail traffic confidentially.

Payment processors

Mollie
|For handling (part of) the payments in our web shop, we use the platform of Mollie. Mollie processes your name, address and place of residence and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Mollie has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. Mollie reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and, as part of this, share (anonymised) data with third parties. All the above safeguards regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to those parts of Mollie's services for which it engages third parties. Mollie will not retain your data longer than permitted under the statutory time limits.

Klarna
For handling (part of) the payments in our web shop we use the platform of Klarna. Klarna processes your name, address and place of residence and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Klarna has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. Klarna reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and in this context to share (anonymised) data with third parties. Klarna shares personal data and information relating to your financial position with credit rating agencies in the case of an application for a deferred payment (credit facility). All of the above guarantees regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to those parts of Klarna's services for which they engage third parties. We collect reviews through WebwinkelKeur's platform. If you leave a review via WebwinkelKeur, you are required to provide your name and e-mail address. WebwinkelKeur shares this information with us so that we can link the review to your order. WebwinkelKeur also publishes your name on its own website. In some cases, WebwinkelKeur may contact you to comment on your review. In case we invite you to leave a review, we share your name and e-mail address with WebwinkelKeur. Shipping and logistics

When you place an order with us, our job is to get your parcel delivered to you. We use the services of PostNL to make the deliveries. This requires us to share your name, address and place of residence details with PostNL. PostNL uses this data solely for the purpose of executing the agreement. If PostNL engages subcontractors, PostNL will also make your details available to these parties.

DHL
When you place an order with us, our job is to get your package delivered to you. We use the services of DHL to make the deliveries. This requires us to share your name, address and place of residence data with DHL. DHL only uses this data for the purpose of executing the contract. If DHL engages subcontractors, DHL will also make your data available to these parties.

Purpose of data processing

General purpose of processing

We use your data exclusively for the purpose of our services. That is, the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the assignment you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us and we use this data to contact you - other than at your request - at a later time, we will ask you explicit permission to do so. Your data will not be shared with third parties other than to meet accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound to confidentiality by virtue of the agreement between them and us or an oath or legal obligation.

Retention periods

We keep your data for as long as you are our client. This means that we will keep your client profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you indicate this to us, we will also take this as a forgetting request. This also means that we will not retain your data for more than two years from the last contact moment or transaction, unless there is a legal justification for doing so. Pursuant to applicable administrative obligations, we must keep invoices containing your (personal) data, so we will retain this data for as long as the applicable term runs.
